About Us

Who are the FEDS?

FEDS stands for Falcon Engineering and Design Solutions.

We are a 27 year old FRC (Robotics) Team from Rochester High School in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

We work together to create robots for FIRST competitions while engaging the world in excitement about STEM education. Our team is full of compassionate students ready to learn and spread the FIRST message for years to come. We create a fun and hard-working environment to prepare our students for success. To us, FIRST is an opportunity to learn for the globally developing future and meet new people while having fun.

The mission of FEDS (201) is to inspire students to be STEM leaders through mentoring and innovation.

The FEDS vision is to transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.

The FEDS purpose is to provide hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) experience for students centered on the FIRST Robotics program. The team will use this experience to provide students practical, technical, business and community relations experiences and to promote STEM in our local community and beyond, including global outreach.

Although we have established a hard-working environment, we still like to have fun and joke around. We are a very supportive team where all of our members help each other. But when work needs to be completed, everyone has a learning mindset in order to become serious for the season.

The FEDS work together in order to create a robot capable of symbolizing the team as a whole. This goal is in the minds of everyone on the team.
